Tai Po was beaten 3:0 by Kitchee in HKPL Opening day

Tai Po suffered a 3-0 defeat on Saturday at the hands of last season's champions Kitchee.

In the first half, the team created multiple scoring opportunities through Chan Philip Siu Kwan, Luizinho, and Renner, nearly opening the scoring. However, the opposing team managed to score on a counterattack in the middle of the half, leaving Tai Po trailing by one goal at halftime.

In the second half, the "Green Warriors" continued to threaten the opponent through aggressive attacks but conceded two more goals. In the closing stages of the game, both Luizinho and substitute Yung Hui To's shots failed to find the net. As a result, Tai Po concluded the match with a score of 0-3.

Next Saturday (August 26th), the team will be away at Mong Kok Stadium to face Eastern.
